The season is coming to a close and The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling league descended upon the Erie County fairgrounds in Waynesburg, PA for the second to last hook of the season.  19 Trucks were on hand to compete in Waynesburg in the highly competitive Optima Batteries Super Modified TWD division. The Long brothers and their Glasgow, KY based team still has a strong foothold on the championship with two events yet to pull,

When it was all said and done on this evening in Waynesburg, Bardstown Kentucky based pilot Lisa Tatum and her father Tony went one and two on the evening and we congratulate them on a job well done.

Midnight Motorsports number 1 finisher in Waynesburg was Sidney, IL based driver Jeremy Nelson, who took his “Speedco Midnight Gambler to a distance of 312.12 which would garner him fifth place honors on the evening in PA.

Finishing in 6th place on the evening, and showing the world that he hasn’t missed a step since leaving the sport to go dirt modified racing a year ago, was none other than former “Midnight Madness” pilot Jordan Nelson who was brought into sub for Bethany Nelson who had a conflict.  Jordan took the
“Warrior Tracks Sweet Revenge” Chevrolet out to a distance of 311.94

Next up for Midnight Motorsports was the familiar Green and White “After Midnight Chevy SSR” piloted by Philo IL based driver John Mumma.  John drove his machine into the number 8 spot with his distance of 308.90.

Rounding out the class was Jared Nelson, and his Boyd and Sons sponsored “Midnight Revenger”.  Jared pulled the Chevrolet to a distance of 281.54 which put him in the number 16 position on the evening.

The team  has one more event before champions are crowned and the season draws to a close.  That all takes place this weekend at the Diamond of Dirt tracks, Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland Missouri.
