The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling league and the Optima Batteries Super Modified Two Wheel drives had a super busy week with several days of back to back pulling in the cards.  The first stop was the annual Thursday afternoon show at the Elkhart County Fair in Goshen, Indiana.  This is one of the most unique events on the tour, as the pull literally goes on from Sun up to Sun down.

Jeremy Nelson would be the star for team Midnight in Goshen, as he took his famed “Speedco Midnight Gambler” to a third place finish with his distance of 316.09. When asked if he would’ve done something differently if given the chance, Nelson said that he may have refrained from feathering the brake a time or two during the pass.

 Jared Nelson would be next best for Midnight Motorsports on the day at Goshen as he put his new “Boyd and Sons Midnight Revenger in the top ten with a solid tenth place effort.  The Altamont, IL based driver had a distance of 300.51.

Philo, Illinois based pilot John Mumma would be next in line for the team with his distance of 291.58 which put him into the number 17 position on the evening.

Rounding out the evening for Midnight Motorsports would be Bethany Nelson, She finished in the 20 position.

Congratulations to Ricky Long who took both number 1 and 2 positions home in Goshen.

The drivers loaded up in Goshen and will head straight to Altamont, IL for the next event.
